The following are tips that were shared with us in regards to Taekwondo in the Hampton Roads area.

2. Dissolve: all negative thoughts and become a positive person with a positive outlook in life. “Find The Good” states; Senior Master.

3. Divide: your goals into categories. Be specific; states Chesapeake Martial Arts Master, Senior Master Thomas. Family, communication, relationships, financial, personal health, etc…

4. Determination: to overcome all obstacles. “Break the goals down” and this takes #3 to the next level. Remember, keeping determined is easier with fun steps and rewarding yourself for accomplishments.

5. Dedication: in becoming a positive person. Stay on the path, utilize small steps and refocus weekly. Use positive quotes, pictures, clippings out of magazines that will help keep you dedicated to your 2010 goals.

6. Discipline: to staying focused on ones path. Self Discipline does not come easy. Have like minded and positive people around you that will motivate you to keeping your discipline.

7. Devote: time each day to staying mentally, physically, and spiritually balanced. If you are unsure how to stay balanced and keep your well being fine tuned, research various methods in these three areas of your life.

8. Defeat: One must persevere in life and overcome many “Life Challenging” situations and concerns. Taekwondo Master, Senior Master Thomas states; “Always remember to step back and take a deep breath, see the situation for what it is. Many times we dramatize or enlarge something that we later determine was not that much of a concern. Emotional levels and stress cannot be allowed to defeat us”.
