Thomas’ ATA Black Belt Academy is not just another martial arts school to me and my daughter Bailey.  It has become our extended family.  Three years into this journey, we have made many new friends in class and all over the country during our travels

competing.  Bailey is learning more than just martial arts, she learning about life!  This experience is teaching her how to remain positive, always set a good example, set goals, and how ‘with hard work and dedication’ she can achieve those goals. In addition to Bailey’s many activities and her dedication to being a Junior Instructor, she has competed two straight seasons, in both the Color Belt and Black Belt Divisions. Through competing, Bailey has learned that a champion is not always the one that comes home with the trophy. My “once shy 7-year old” is now a confident traveler, a better decision maker and a fierce 11-year old competitor and champion. One of the great experiences for me throughout this journey is the support I have received from you and our instructors, as well as the other families in our school. I believe ATA has helped me be a better parent, friend, and role model. I can truly say that this has been a rewarding experience for us!
